School of Medicine

Dr. Kim is the Director of the Institute for Health Policy and Leadership. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and of Preventive Medicine at the School of Medicine and an Assistant Professor for the School of Public Health. Her research interests include pediatric obesity, social determinants of health, global health and policy approaches to addressing health issues faced by vulnerable populations.

Dr. Lum is Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery for the School of Medicine, where she also serves as Medical Director of the Breast Health Center. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons Health Disparities Advisory Committee. Her research interests include quality measures and disparities in breast and other cancer outcomes, and incorporation of patient reported outcomes in clinical decision-making for patients with breast diseases.
